this study investigates the impact of creative drama techniques on improving communicative competence among young learners of English as a Foreign Language (EFL). The research employs an experimental design involving control and experimental groups to measure the effectiveness of drama-based instruction. Pre-tests and post-tests were administered to evaluate learners’ communicative performance, focusing on fluency, accuracy, interaction, and confidence. The findings reveal that students exposed to creative drama techniques significantly outperform those taught through traditional methods. The study concludes that integrating creative drama into EFL classrooms enhances learners’ communicative competence and reduces language anxiety.
