Tishlarning toʻliq yoʻqolishi katta yosh guruhidagi shaxslar orasida sezilarli darajada tarqalganligicha qolmoqda, an'anaviy toʻliq olinadigan protezlar esa bemorlarning bir qismida yetarli fiksatsiya va chaynash samaradorligini ta'minlamaydi. Alveolyar qirraning zoʻrayib boruvchi atrofiyasi protezni barqarorlashtirish muammosini doimiy takrorlanuvchi holga keltiradi.
